So it seems that recently there’s a lot of push for constant new content, whether it’s podcasts, posts, articles, or others. But are we truly absorbing all this info and storing it for later use? Probably not. If you’re not convinced, just try to list some of the content you’ve found interesting or relevant not this month but last month and how you’ve consumed it (audio, video, etc.)
This is why I’ve recently switched to re-listening or watching favorite podcasts and interviews, once in a while. See sometimes we’ve already encountered helpful info that we’ve forgotten about, and just need a reminder or nudge. Or other times we absorb and focus on different parts of the content depending on what’s on our minds or what we’re working towards.
So go ahead, keep exploring, but save those gems of content that you’d want to go back to.
Two of my favorite podcast episodes that I constantly go back to are: Tim Ferriss and Brendon Stanton (Creator of Humans of New York), and Tim Ferriss and Lori Gottlieb (Psychotherapist and writer of “Maybe You Should Talk to Someone”). What are yours?
Till next time 🙂 !
